Getting Ideas Started

Sometimes getting an idea started takes more than just having a good idea. Have you seen the FedEx commercial where the guys says use FedEx and then the boss says the same thing and everyone agrees its a good idea? How often in our credit unions does it take the right person saying something is a good idea to get everyone else behind the project? You have to find those people in your credit union to get ideas going. It might take awhile and the link to your idea has probably been long forgotten but that shouldn't discourage you. I think any one's role in a company is to be involved with change however that needs to happen. Many of good idea are never completed because of a lack of resource allocation. If a great idea has to be fostered by someone else to get the resource allocation, so be it. Innovation is not the start of the idea but rather the implementation of the idea. And one thing we add around here, profitable implementation of the idea. Bottom line, get ideas started however you can.
