It has been almost a year since my last post...why so long? I wanted to decide where I wanted to go with this blog and I also wanted to try other tools to see what worked and what didn't work for me. I have decided to come back to the blog.
2011 is winding down and 2012 looks to be a challenging year economically for most people. Some say the election will provide a strong indicator of where the country wants to go. I am not so sure. I am most concerned with the popular vote not the electoral vote when it comes to mandates. Without a clear mandate for direction, I am concerned that the country will falter along doing very little.
It is like my work situation. For a couple of years we weren't focused on the big picture and our stated vision. In the last 12 months that has changed drastically and we have improved immensely because of that. The future looks incredibly better than it did just 12 months ago. Moral of the story...strong leadership that follows a vision that is motivation will always be a winning strategy.
